You can expect a lot of things to happen at a Justin Timberlake concert. There'll be dancing. There will be pop gems. They'll likely be pyro. However, his Detroit audience received the unexpected when the pop titan helped a fan announce her pregnancy during the middle of his "Man of the Woods World Tour" date on Monday (April 2).
During the evening spectacle, Darcell Baxtresser put up a sign that caught the pop titan's eye in the front row of the Little Caesar Arena and it was one that will forever go down in history for the fan. Due on November 1, Baxtresser held up a sign that read "Will you help me announce my pregnancy?" and that's when JT spearheaded the big moment. Heading down the floor level of the arena, the singer took her note, went back up to his platform and helped do the big honors. After making the big announcement, nicknaming her future son Baby Max, Timberlake asked Baxtresser the big question on his mind: "Is dad here tonight?" When she shook her head, he provided a LOL-worthy one-liner: "No, okay. I see what you're doin'."
"This was the most amazing, magical, unforgettable moment I have ever had in my life!!!" Baxtresser captioned a video of the memory on Facebook. "My first love to announce my pregnancy was crazy!!! A truly special memory I will forever cherish!! Thank you!!"
Timberlake's world trek started just a few weeks ago in Toronto and is scheduled to make its way all through 2018 and into early 2019. "The outdoors is the inspiration for a lot of these songs. That's the main idea. The tour will be able to bring the outside in," Timberlake previously said in the official tour trailer. "How can we bring that to life? I want people to see the inspiration for how it ended up sounding. I’ve never seen that done before — bring the outside in." Head over to his official website for a full list of tour dates.
