Cardi B Celebrates Her Success On New Song 'Drip' Featuring Migos

Cardi B is just days away from the release of her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, so it's only natural that the breakthrough rapper is taking in the moment. On her new song, "Drip," which unsurprisingly features Migos and dropped on Tuesday night (April 3), the MC takes a minute, or four minutes and 23 seconds, to be exact, to reflect on her journey towards success.

After the release of her mid-tempo, "Be Careful," which warned fiancé Offset to be cautious with her heart, Bardi brings back the aggressive bars atop the Nonstop Da Hitman & Cassius Jay production. Alongside her rapping brothers, the 25-year-old star spits about her achievements as well as her naysayers, rapping, "Won every P, and I'm still a rookie, like woo/ I gotta work on my anger (ayy)/ Might kill a b*tch with my fingers (ayy)/ I gotta stay outta Gucci (woo)/ I'm finna run outta hangers (woo)/ Is she a stripper, a rapper or a singer?"

Later on, she and Offset take hook duties by simultaneously chanting, "Came through drippin' (drip drip)/ Came through drippin' (drip drip)/ Came through drippin' (drip drip)/ Diamonds on my wrist, they drippin' (ice)."

Meanwhile, on Twitter, a fan referred to Cardi as "basically the fourth member of the Migos" after the release and Bardi had some words to say. "I'm not. I'm engaged to Offset and the others are my brothers," she argued. "Now we want to help each other to succeed and make money. Your f**ckin' homeboys should support you too, sis!" Earlier in the day, the rapper admitted that she's excited to show off her versatility with the forthcoming LP, which drops on Friday. "I want people to see different sides of me and I’m just really proud of the work that was put in this album," she confessed.

Expect even more Cardi when she serves as the musical guest on the newest episode of Saturday Night Live this weekend as well as next week's co-hosting gig on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon
