Christina Aguilera Goes Makeup-Free For 'Paper' Magazine: See The Shots

After making a splash on the RuPaul's Drag Race Season 10 premiere, Christina Aguilera revs up her comeback with a new appearance on the cover of Paper magazine's Transformation 2018 issue, which surfaced on Monday afternoon (March 26) and sees the pop star rocking barely any make-up.

You might be itching to read the feature to learn an update about new Aguilera music, but there's little to no mention about her forthcoming album, which is rumored to be called Liberation if you believe some fan whispers floating around the web. Still, the 37-year-old titan did namedrop some of the acts that she's been listening to, including Childish Gambino, Chance The Rapper and, of course, Cardi B

Elsewhere in the feature, Xtina hit on her love for wigs and DVDs, but the most prominent part of the interview arrived when she made mention of how the entertainment industry has changed since her debut in the late '90s with "Genie in a Bottle." "They don't have as much backlash when they come out on the scene. And I did. It was a very interesting and controversial time for me," she explained.

It's a transition that has kept folks fixated on sexuality and how much an artist has to offer up. "Either women are not sexual enough or we're not fulfilling enough of a fantasy for you, but then if we're overtly sexual or feeling empowered in a certain kind of way, then we're shamed for it," she continued. "Madonna had to go through it in her day, and she paved the way for my generation to come up. And paying it forward, now a younger generation is coming up and I'm loving what I'm seeing. It's so incredible."
