Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have reportedly split up after 10 months together and the report comes just days after the singer was spotted reuniting with her longtime former flame Justin Bieber.
"She and Abel have been going back and forth for a few months about their relationship," an insider told People, which published the report on Monday (October 30). "It's been hard with him being on tour and her shooting in New York. That wasn’t easy on them." People revealed that the pop star made an effort to see him on the road, but "that played a part in them getting distant. "It's over for now, but they’re still in touch," the insider added.
In their whirlwind romance, the pair were never particularly shy about their budding connection, especially when it came to public events. The Weeknd even scheduled his performances around the pop star's kidney transplant due to her Lupus. After it was revealed that Gomez's friend/actress Francia Raisa made the brave decision to give her the organ, People reported that Abel scheduled performances around her medical emergency. "It was a super serious operation and all her friends were worried," the source previously told the outlet.
